FAQ

Frequent Issues & Questions
  • "Untrusted Enterprise Developer" Error
  • "Unable to Download App" Error

Usually this error may happen when Apple has revoked the certificate(s).

If this is true, there's no way to fix this on your side until apps have been signed with a new certificate. You can view the Changes tab on iOSEmus to see if apps have been signed again.

Another reason may be that you already have an older version of the app you're trying to install still on your device.

Check to see if you need to remove any older versions of the app you are trying to install still on your device. If so, delete the old version of that app, and then try to install once again.

  • I'm not getting an install prompt!

Usually this happens due to the server not taking the request properly. Trying again usually fixes it.

  • Twitter / Facebook says apps are back up, but the app says otherwise!

This is because your device is loading an old version of the app.

To fix this, you can do 2 things.

Firstly, try to hit the refresh button at the top of iOSEmus a few times to see if it loads the correct version afterwards.

If that doesn't work, you can go to Settings -> Safari -> Clear History and Website Data, and clear everything. After that, next time it tries to load iOSEmus, it will grab the latest version.

If you want to see how this is done visually, you can click anywhere on this red text to see a video of how it's done.

  • Can you add "[App Name Here]"?

Most likely the answer is No.

If the app gets many requests, then it's possible that it'll be added.

No, I will not add a paid app from the app store on iOSEmus. That's not what iOSEmus is for.
